What is your standard tooling lead time? Usual lead time for tooling from design approval to T1 sampling is 28 - 50 days depending on mould requirements and part complexity. What is your standard warranty for tooling? Wing Yip warrants the quality, workmanship and materials used in producing the tooling for a period 180 days or 250,000 cycles, whichever occurs first from the date of delivery to the customer. Wing Yip will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace all parts determined to be defective. Are factory visits encouraged? Yes, we welcome customers at both our Hong Kong offices and our factory in Shenzhen. We can advise on necessary VISA paperwork, travel plans, accommodation etc. |
How are parts approved? Once satisfied with the samples the customer is required to sign one part and return it to our Hong Kong office. This is designated the 'golden sample' and serves as a reference for both us and our customer. Do you handle freight of moulds and production parts?
